Heavy rain, isolated strong thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon

CINCINNATI (WXIX) — Heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected to sweep across parts of the Tri-State area, making Tuesday the first weather advisory day.

The severity of the storms is considered low, but the weather could become moderate and cause disruption after school activities and the evening commute, according to the FOX19 NOW Weather Team.

Heavy rain, thunder, gusty wind and isolated strong Thunderstorms are possible, particularly in Northern Kentucky, and may last between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m
