16-year-old shot in face in northwest Atlanta neighborhood, police say – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — A 16-year-old boy is hospitalized after Atlanta police say he was shot in the face.

Shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday, police were called to a home on Oldknow Drive about a person shot.

When police arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot in the face.

Authorities said the teen was in stable condition and was taken to a hospital to receive medical treatment.

Atlanta investigators are working to understand what led to the shooting. It is not known if a suspect has been arrested or if any arrests have been made.
