Former UGA star Justin Houston signs NFL contract

Former Georgia Bulldogs star outside linebacker Justin Houston is returning to the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year deal. Houston will give the Ravens pass rush a boost.

Justin Houston played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts, and Baltimore Ravens throughout his long and successful NFL career. Houston has 102 career sacks, including 4.5 with the Ravens during the 2021 season.

Houston will continue to mentor the Ravens’ young outside linebackers like Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo.

Justin Houston is helping fill some of the void left after the tragic death of Ravens outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson this offseason.

Terms of Houston’s contract are not known at this time. He made $2.075 million for Baltimore last season, so this deal should be around that figure.
