Cyclist killed in accident in Anderson County.

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – A bicyclist was killed in a crash in Anderson County Monday afternoon.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on US 28 near West Market Street.

According to police, a 2023 Hyundai SUV was traveling east on US 28 when a bicyclist attempted to cross the road.

The Hyundai crashed into the bicycle. The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not released.
