Man arrested after stabbing in Southport, UK; multiple victims reported

British police arrested a man on Monday (29 July) following a “serious incident” in Southport, north-west England, about 80 kilometres from Manchester, where tensions are high after a police officer was seen kicking a Muslim man at the airport last week.

Several victims were reported in the knife attack on Monday. The police confiscated a knife, but there appears to be no major danger to the public.
