Things to Do This 4th of July in Atlanta

The City of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association are proud to present one of the largest fireworks shows in metro Atlanta. Every year on the 4th of July, concerts and fireworks are held at Cauble Park. Live music will begin at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. (subject to change due to weather).

Entrance to the event and concert is free!

Alpharetta-July 4 at Wills Park

Celebrate our great nation with your family under the stars as you watch a brilliant fireworks display at dusk at Wills Park. The fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. In the event of a weather delay, the latest start of the show will be at 10:40 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring their own fun with a blanket, picnic and games for a memorable moment. evening together.

Atlanta Centennial Olympic Park

No fireworks this year.

Avondale Estates-July 4th on the Town Green

Bring your blankets and chairs for a fun and festive 4th of July at the Town Green. Enjoy games, food, face painting, activities and music that the whole family will enjoy. Fireworks will launch from the north end of the Town Green and light up the sky after dark.

Braselton-July 4th on the Town Green

Bring the family to downtown Braselton to celebrate Independence Day with a patriotic parade, festival and fireworks on the 4th of July! Highlights include a concert on Town Green, food trucks, face painting, local restaurants and shopping throughout downtown. The fireworks begin at nightfall.

Chamblee-4th of July in Downtown Chamblee

The July 4th concert and fireworks display will feature the Ansley Stewart Band followed by the Platinum Band. The Platinum Band can play just about anything from jazz to hip hop, current top, 70s disco, 80s, 90s, Motown, R&B, rap and country. They will certainly bring the necessary energy to the fireworks which will begin around 9:00 p.m. Multiple transportation options to and from the event will be offered, with a shuttle, parking at nearby businesses, and a rideshare option.

Conyers-July 3 in Historic Old Town Conyers

The streets of the historic Old Town Conyers shopping district will come alive with the sights and sounds of our community celebrating our nation’s independence. Bring the family for food trucks, children’s activities, several live music stages, a beer garden, and did we mention fireworks? The fun starts at 6 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at nightfall, or between 9:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.

Covington-July 4th on the Square

Witness one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southeast during Covington’s annual 4th of July celebration, Independence in the Park!

Cumming-July 4 at Cumming Fairgrounds

The Steam Engine Parade begins at 10am. Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends on Thursday, July 4th! Cumming Fairgrounds is hosting a fun-filled evening from 4pm to 10pm, with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30pm. The celebration includes live music, alcohol, food, a kids zone, vendors and more!

Dahlonega – July 4 at the University of North Georgia Drill Field

Get to Dahlonega early to enjoy a 5K run, parade, concerts, car show and more.

Decatur-July 4th at the Place

Celebrate the 4th of July your hometown way in Decatur. Watch (or participate in) the Pied Pipers Parade that passes through downtown with floats, wagons and bicycles at 6 p.m. Meet at the community bandstand for live music in the square at 7 p.m. Arrive early to reserve your spot on the square for the evening fireworks! The fireworks start at nightfall (around 9 p.m.).

Dillard-4th of July at Dillard House

The event at the popular resort and restaurant features barbecue chicken, fried chicken, ribs, corn, beans, desserts and more. There is live music from Hunter Grayson with fireworks at dusk.

Duluth – The city of Duluth will NOT have fireworks this year

Gainesville-July 4th at Laurel Park

Get ready for a day filled with excitement and fun for the whole family. Doors open at 9 a.m. Enjoy live music, exciting children’s activities, delicious food and drinks, crafts and, of course, a breathtaking fireworks display at dusk.

Johns Creek-July 3 at Newtown Park

Celebrate our country’s independence at Newtown Park with live music, activities, food and an amazing fireworks display!

Kennesaw-July 3 in Downtown Kennesaw

The City of Kennesaw’s Independence Day celebration of freedom, music and fireworks is one of the biggest and best in North Georgia! Salute to America will feature two live music stages, festive street entertainment, food vendors and plenty of family activities.

Marietta-4th of July on Marietta Square

The City of Marietta’s Independence Day Event, the 4th Celebration in the Park, begins Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. and includes a parade, free live concerts, arts and crafts show , food, carnival games and a final fireworks display.

Newnan-July 4th at Newnan High School

There will be live music, fireworks and more.

Norcross-July 3 Lillian Webb Park

The City of Norcross is excited to host Red, White & Boom on Monday, July 3rd at Lillian Webb Park from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. There will be food, live music, face painting and more – making it the perfect way to kick off your Independence Day celebrations!

Peachtree City – 4th of July at Peachtree Lake

Join the Town of Peachtree City as it celebrates the birth of our nation starting with the Fourth of July Parade and closing out the holiday with fireworks over Peachtree Lake.

Rome-July 4th at Ridge Ferry Park

Get ready for a fun-filled day on July 4th as the Patriot Party in the Park takes over Ridge Ferry Park. There is a $5 parking fee.

Roswell-4th of July at Roswell Area Park

The City of Roswell will host its annual Fourth of July celebration to honor Independence Day. The celebration will take place at Roswell Area Park (10495 Woodstock Road) starting at 6:00 p.m. Guests of all ages are invited to enjoy fireworks, live music, entertainment and specialty food trucks.

Sandy Springs – July 4th at City Springs

A-Town A-List takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. before giving way to the fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Snellville-July 4th on the Towne Green

The event starts at 4 p.m. and includes a DJ, live band, kids’ zone and food. The fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Stockbridge – 4th of July at Stockbridge Amphitheater

Get ready for the 4th of July extravaganza in Stockbridge! Get ready to spend your next vacation at Stockbridge Amphitheater. FREE ENTRANCE. The celebration will feature performances from Bobby V., Kool Moe Dee, Algebra Blessett, Micheal Jackson LIVE Tribute, Soul Cartel, and more. This celebration also includes fireworks!! Inflatable games will be available for children. The show will start at 7 p.m. and end at 11 p.m.

Sugar Hill-July 3 at EE Robinson Park

Live music starts at 6:30 p.m. and follows a fireworks display.

Tucker-July 3 on Main Street

Enjoy live music, food trucks, a children’s zone and fireworks.

Woodstock-July 4th in the City

There is a parade, a festival from 11am to 3pm and fireworks.

Atlanta Braves – July 4

Watch the San Francisco Giants take on the Braves, followed by post-game fireworks.

Lake Lanier Islands – July 4-6

The North Georgia resort town will launch fireworks Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
