Syracuse-based law firm specializing in healthcare clients acquired by Buffalo firm

Syracuse, New York — CCBLaw, a Syracuse law firm that provides legal services to clients in the health care industry, has been acquired by a Buffalo-based law firm.

Lippes Mathias LLP announced on Monday the acquisition of CCBLaw. The move means the Buffalo-based law firm now has an office in every major city in New York.

Eleven attorneys and eight CCBLaw staff members will join Lippes Mathias in this move. CCBLaw staff will continue to work from their office located at 507 Plum St.

CCBLaw provides legal and consulting services to healthcare clients including medical group practices, private physicians, dentists and allied health professionals, hospitals, other healthcare groups, physician organizations , ambulatory surgery centers and other facilities across the United States.

CCBLaw founding member Marc S. Beckman will co-lead Lippes Mathias’ healthcare practice team alongside Lippes Mathias associate Brigid M. Maloney.

With this move, Lippes Mathias has 197 attorneys, 158 employees and 15 offices across the country, including Albany, Buffalo, Clarence, Long Island, New York, Rochester, Saratoga Springs and Syracuse.

Lippes Mathias represents public and private companies, private equity and venture capital firms, real estate developers, financial institutions, municipalities, government entities and individuals.
