An Atlanta woman is still recovering in the hospital after being thrown from her car in a crash involving two Marietta police officers Friday night.

Authorities said Sandy Curry, 60, was driving a Mustang southbound on Cobb Parkway at the intersection with Roswell Street around 10:15 p.m. when she struck a marked patrol car waiting at a red light.

Curry’s car lost control and also struck the rear of a Toyota Prius driven by Ahmed Sheridan, 60, of Marietta. Curry was quickly ejected from her car.
