Sean Kingston was arrested without incident in California on Thursday after police searched his Florida home earlier that day.

The “Beautiful Girls” singer – real name Kisean Paul Anderson – was taken into custody near Fort Irwin, an Army base about 150 miles northeast of Los Angeles, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Page Six.

There was an arrest warrant out for him for numerous fraud and theft offenses.

Kingston, 34, will be taken to prison in San Bernardino, California, the spokesman said.

Representatives for the Jamaican artist did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment following his arrest.

Kingston’s South Florida home was searched Thursday morning by Dania Beach District detectives, the Strategic Investigations Unit and a police SWAT team after an investigation led to the musician’s 14,000-square-foot Southwest Ranches mansion.

Although the artist of the record “Take You There” was not present at the time of the raid, his 61-year-old mother, Janice Turner, was taken into custody on charges of fraud and theft.

Kingston later addressed the incident on social media Thursday afternoon.

“People love negative energy!” he wrote in his Instagram story. “I’m fine and so is my mom! … my lawyers are taking care of everything right now.”

The “Fire Burning” singer’s arrest is reportedly related to his ongoing legal battle with Ver Ver Entertainment, which sued him in February for unpaid fees related to the sale and installation of a 232-inch television.

“He’s basically trying to scam people with a sales pitch,” Dennis Card, a lawyer for the company, told Local 10 News on Thursday.

“He gets them to give him really expensive things. … It’s an organized, systematic fraud.”
