Claremore woman dies in car crash

An Oklahoma woman dies after a single-vehicle crash in Rogers County.

The accident occurred at 11:15 a.m. this morning on 4170 Road, south of Blue Starr Dr south of Claremore. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 1999 Dodge 2500 driven by 20-year-old Chloe Aycock veered off the road to the right for unknown reasons and became stuck in a tree.

Aycock was taken to Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore by Pafford Ambulance with serious injuries. Hospital staff pronounced her dead shortly before noon. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
