Seminary teacher arrested for “raping” two boys in Muzaffargarh – Pakistan

MUZAFFARGARH: Police on Friday arrested a seminary teacher for allegedly raping his two minor students and threatening them with torture if they disclosed the attack.

According to Daira Din Pannah police, the complainant Jalal Din stated in his application that his son and a nephew aged between 10 and 12 years had been studying at Madressah Yaseen in Chak No. 143/ML for several months.

He said the boys told him that their teacher “F” had raped them in the seminary and threatened them with torture if they told anyone about the attack.

Based on the complaint, the police initiated proceedings against the suspect under Sections 376-iii and 377-B.

Police said they arrested the suspect and took the boys to hospital for medical examination.

DIES: One man died when he was struck by lightning while another was seriously injured in the incident that occurred near Adda 1-R, Sultan Colony Road, Sinawan, Kot Addu on Friday.

According to locals, Zubair (22) and Fiaz (25) were riding a motorcycle when the lightning struck. The former died on the spot while the latter was seriously injured.

A rescue team from 1122 arrived at the spot after being informed about the incident by locals and took the body and the injured man to the hospital, where his condition was reported to be critical.

The incident occurred during the rain that lashed the area for hours.
