Slough man in court over rape in Farnham Common

Bobby Taylor, 36, of Rokesby Road, Slough, appeared at Reading Crown Court today (5 June).

He has pleaded not guilty to several serious charges dating from November 2022 to September 2023.

He is accused of three counts of rape, eight counts of property damage and one count each of sexual assault, strangulation without fatal consequences, bodily harm by beating and coercive control.

All incidents are said to have occurred in Farnham Common.

In addition to the alleged sex offenses, Taylor is accused of damaging a telephone, a car, a door and a kitchen countertop.

A jury has been empaneled and the trial is scheduled to begin this week.
