1 injured, 1 dead in shooting in South Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – One woman is dead and another injured after a shooting Sunday night in south Louisville.

At around 11:20 p.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to a shooting in the 3100 block of St. Anthony Gardens Drive, according to an LMPD news release.

At the scene, officers found two women who had been shot. Both were taken to UofL Hospital, where one of the women was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

LMPD officials believe the second woman will survive.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating. No suspects are currently known.
