Red Dead Redemption 2 Protagonist Arthur Morgan returns, just not in the way you think.

I remember a time when there was a strange reaction to Arthur Morgan becoming the new face of Red Dead Redemption. Today, he is one of the most popular characters in the video game world, right up there with John Marston.

This is of course due to the fantastic performance of Roger Clark in Red Dead Redemption 2which not only made us love the character for her silly sayings and actions, but also aroused deep compassion for her and her inevitable fate.

For fans hoping for his return Red Dead Redemption 3I’m afraid you’re out of luck because Clark feels his story is over and done with.

Of course, it is up to Rockstar Games what happens to his character in the future, and if Red Dead Redemption 3 is another prequel, maybe Arthur has a cameo appearance.

But fear not, Arthur Morgan returns later this year for a brand new Red Dead Redemption project, an audiobook about the Wild West and its connection to Rockstar’s game world.

The historian Tore Olsson wrote a book entitled The story of Red Deadall about the games and the real historical influences that shaped the story and characters.

The book is being made into an audiobook and Roger Clark returns to read it in the role of Arthur Morgan. If you’re interested, you can make the popular character your new US history teacher.

The book description states: “By weaving the fictional characters and plot of the Red Dead Redemption games with real-life historical vignettes, Olsson shows that the action-packed violence of the Red Dead universe is not just drawn from Hollywood Westerns, but is rooted in real sociopolitical issues of turn-of-the-century America.”

The story of Red Dead will be released on August 6th of this year and will be available as a paperback and audiobook.
