Conroe Golf Cars Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Conroe Golf Cars, a certified three-brand dealership offering service, repair and rental services, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The business opened its doors on July 13, 1974.

“It’s a family business that was founded by Jim and Carolyn Sebastian and their son John Sebastian, who run it today,” said Curt Maddux, vice president and chief operating officer of Conroe Golf Cars. “Mr. Sebastian passed away 20 years ago, but the legacy is still there, and we operate in a family-first environment, and the majority of our employees here have 20 years of tenure.”

Maddox said Conroe Golf Cars’ customers include the Houston Texans, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, dealerships and area apartment complexes.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary, any cart purchased before the end of the year gets a $500 discount, Maddux said.
