REPORT: Buffalo Bills receive encouraging injury update on offensive lineman ahead of 2024 season

The Buffalo Bills were one of two teams to have the same starting offensive line throughout the 2023 season. They had the same starters for the regular season and both playoff games, and all five played at least 96% of the offensive snaps. However, that doesn’t mean all of the players were 100% last season, as their tackle suffered an injury.

Spencer Brown played every regular season game last season, accounting for 99.74 percent of the snaps. He had 40 pressures, 30 pressures, five hits, five sacks, nine penalties and a 68.1 PFF grade.

He played every game in the Wild Card and Divisional Round despite tearing his labrum against the Chiefs. He then dislocated his shoulder on the car ride home. He had the shoulder repaired in the offseason.

Rookies reported to training camp on Tuesday, July 16, while veterans will report on Tuesday, July 23. According to Ryan O’Halloran for Buffalo News, Brown will be in full shape for training camp next Tuesday.

“At the youth football camp he co-hosts with Dalton Kincaid, #Bills RT Spencer Brown says he’ll be at full throttle when camp begins next week after offseason shoulder surgery.”

Brown is entering a crucial 2024 season as he enters the final year of his rookie contract and will be an unrestricted free agent in 2025. If he plays well this season, he could earn a contract extension with the Bills or sign a lucrative deal with another team during free agency. If he struggles, he may not get the asking price he wants.

Will he play well or struggle in 2024?
