Man from Flora killed in motorcycle accident

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Madison County. According to Trooper First Class Darnika Mayfield, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the crash on U.S. 49 North near Middle Road around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. A 2002 Yamaha motorcycle driven by 45-year-old Jerome Wilson of Flora left the road and crashed into a ditch. Mayfield said Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. The MHP is investigating the crash.
