Police investigate reports of shooting in west Dayton – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

DAYTON – Police are investigating reports of a shooting Sunday afternoon in Dayton, a Montgomery County dispatcher confirmed.

At around 2 p.m., Dayton police and paramedics were dispatched to the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue on reports of a shooting.

The dispatcher said several teams were called to the scene of the accident.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the shooting.

Further information was not immediately available.

This is the second reported shooting that Dayton police responded to Sunday afternoon.
