Man thrown from car and killed while using race track

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WBAY/Gray News) – A Wisconsin man was thrown from his car in an accident at a drag racing track.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, authorities responded to a report of an accident involving injuries at Wisconsin International Raceway.

When emergency responders arrived, they found that a car on the drag racing track had crashed into the concrete railing of a bridge, ejecting the driver and causing him to fall into a ditch.

The driver was a 65-year-old man and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
