Tragic ceiling collapse claims young life in Thane

In a tragic accident in Thane, Maharashtra, a 17-year-old boy was killed when the ceiling plaster of an apartment on the second floor of a four-storey building collapsed.

In the incident, which occurred around 8 p.m. on Saturday in the Kharivali area of ​​Bhiwandi, the plaster suddenly fell down, causing serious injuries to the boy, who later died, according to local authorities.

The victim’s body has been sent to IGM Government Hospital for postmortem and Bhoiwada police station has registered a case of accidental death, officials confirmed.
