Recent court documents show that Patrick Mahomes Sr. is the father of NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes II. He received a misdemeanor ticket in Tyler, Texas, on June 29. This incident occurred just five months after he was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) in the same city.

Mahomes Sr. is scheduled to appear before a judge for a hearing on this latest violation on or before July 31. This latest incident is not an isolated incident for Mahomes Sr. The former MLB pitcher has a documented history of legal problems related to alcohol.

On February 3, just a week before his son was scheduled to play in the 53rd Super Bowl, he was arrested for drunk driving and charged in a Smith County court.

Mahomes Sr.’s drinking problems date back to 2016, when he was arrested and charged with public intoxication during a football game between TCU and Texas Tech, the latter being his son’s alma mater.

In 2018 Mahomes Sr. was again charged with drunk driving. He pleaded guilty to the charge and served 40 days in county jail, according to Bleacher Report. These repeated offenses indicate that he still struggles with alcohol-related problems.

The caption of her Instagram video read “Round three here we come,” signaling her excitement about expanding her family. The couple has not yet announced a due date for their third child. However, based on her previous pregnancies, it could be late this year or early 2025.
