Police: Woman shot in Greenbelt

GREENBELT, Maryland (DC News Now) — Greenbelt police said they are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead Friday night.

The shooting occurred shortly before 9 p.m. in the parking lot of 7913 Mandan Road. Officers found a woman with a gunshot wound there.

She was taken to hospital and was in stable condition.

Police said there was no danger to the surrounding community.
