Motorcyclist killed in collision in Rogers Park

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car in Rogers Park on Sunday evening, police said.

According to Chicago police, the 40-year-old motorcyclist was in the area of ​​6600 North Sheridan Road around 10:30 p.m. when he collided with a vehicle that was turning.

He was taken to Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he died. A female passenger in the car was taken to the same hospital, where she was in good condition.

No other injuries were reported and the Chicago Police Department’s Major Injury Unit is investigating.
