SPD: Man killed in Villas of Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCBD) – Summerville Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death inside a vehicle in Villas of Summerville.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of Boone Hill Road around 9:45 p.m. Friday in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a fatally injured gunshot victim in a parked vehicle, according to authorities.

Dorchester EMS pronounced the man dead and officers determined the incident was a homicide.

The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name once they notify next of kin.
