Projecting 2024 season records for the Bills and rest of the AFC East

Projecting 2024 season records for the Bills and rest of the AFC East

Record prediction for 2024: 11-6 (AFC East Division record 4-2)

Again, this will likely come down to the final weeks of the 2024 season, but for the fifth year in a row, the AFC East is going through Buffalo. The Bills will look a lot different this season than in previous years, but the talent is still there to win the division and make another playoff run.

Their success will be determined by Josh Allen, but he has been a top 5 quarterback in the NFL over the past few seasons and is probably the best quarterback in the AFC East. At this point, the Bills also have the most experienced head coach in Sean McDermott.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the offense adjusts to a more team effort in the passing game with Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis no longer on the roster. However, Allen will have a lot of players around him who can make a difference like Dalton Kincaid, Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel or James Cook.

The defense will also be one of the best with players like Ed Oliver, Matt Milano, Terrel Bernard, Rasul Douglas, Taron Johnson and Christian Benford. If Von Miller can bounce back this year, that will just be a bonus.

There’s no doubt this team will be tested with the schedule they have, but they should sweep the Patriots and split the Jets and Dolphins series. After that, they should win four games against the Cardinals, Jaguars, Titans and Colts. The remaining seven games will be draws, but if they can go 3-4, that will take them to 11-6 and a division title.
