Justin Timberlake arrested for drunk driving in Sag Harbor

Singer Justin Timberlake was charged with drunk driving in Sag Harbor.

According to court documents, Timberlake was driving on Madison Street around 12:37 a.m. when a police officer noticed him failing to stop at a stop sign.

According to police, Timberlake’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy and his breath smelled strongly of alcohol. He “was unable to divide his attention, his speech was slowed, he was unsteady on his feet and performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”

According to court documents, Timberlake told police during the traffic stop, “I was drinking a martini and following my friends home.”

According to police, Timberlake was arrested and taken to Sag Harbor Police Department, where he said he would not submit to a chemical test and refused to do so three times.

Timberlake was arraigned this morning in Sag Harbor Village Court, the charges were read and he left the courthouse.
