HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Police are investigating after a shooting in northeast Houston left a man injured early Saturday morning.

Authorities say the shooting happened shortly after 2 a.m. in the 9700 block of Homestead Road.

A man, aged around 30, was shot twice, police said.

The man told police a car pulled into the parking lot, shot him, then drove off.

There are currently no suspicious descriptions or videos.

Authorities are unsure if he was the intended victim or if he was shot randomly.
