26-year-old motorcyclist killed in accident in Englewood

A 26-year-old man from Englewood died in a motorcycle accident Friday evening.

According to police, Yeison Velasquez suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident near the intersection of North Dean Street and Concord Street. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The accident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

A vigil was held for Velasquez on Saturday.
