According to Planespotters, N832MH, the aircraft operating the affected DL270 Sao Paulo-Atlanta flight, is a 23.7-year-old Boeing 767-400 that was delivered to Delta Air Lines in September 2000.

Of the 767-400 variant, DL has 21 in its fleet.

Additionally, of these 21, all but two are in active service, providing an average fleet age of 23.4 years.
