Josh Allen reveals the major sacrifice he would make for a Bills Super Bowl

The Buffalo Bills have been one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL over the past five years. They have made the playoffs every year since 2019, but have not reached the AFC Championship Game since the 2020 season.

Star quarterback Josh Allen is the main reason the Bills are back to greatness, and you would think that a talent like him would eventually bring a Super Bowl to Buffalo. On Pardon My Take, Big Cat jokingly asked Allen if he had considered the possibility of retiring and watching the Bills immediately win a Super Bowl. Allen’s response, however, didn’t seem to be a joke.

“If that’s what it took, I would do it,” Allen said.

The Bills have come close to the Super Bowl several times since 2019. They had the infamous showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2022 divisional round, where the Chiefs won in overtime. They also lost to Kansas City in the aforementioned AFC Championship Game, and a missed field goal by Tyler Bass last January prevented them from tying the Chiefs in the divisional round.

Even if it was just a joke, one thing is for sure: the Bills can’t get close for long. If they don’t reach the Super Bowl soon, major changes need to be made.
