Buffalo Public Schools will return to regular schedule

Buffalo Public Schools will return to their regular school schedule next week with more seasonal temperatures in the forecast.

All students in grades K-8 had a half day last week due to the extreme heatwave in Western New York. The students were released three and a half hours earlier than their usual dismissal time.

No changes have been made to the NYS Regents exam schedules and exams have not been canceled. High school students will have to take their regular regents exams next week.

The last day of school for students is Tuesday, June 25 and the last day for teachers is Thursday, June 27.
