Police say motorcyclist dies in high-speed crash in Milwaukee

According to Milwaukee police, a 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a moving car.

According to police, the accident occurred around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of South Chase Avenue. The motorcycle was traveling north when it collided with the car.

The 20-year-old driver of the car is still at the scene, police said, adding that investigations are ongoing.

According to police, 31 people have died in traffic accidents in Milwaukee as of Monday this year. Last year, the number was 75.
