Man fatally shot near Trap Music Museum, Atlanta police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man died Sunday night after being shot multiple times near the Trap Music Museum in Atlanta, police say.

The Atlanta Police Department said officers responded around 7:55 p.m. to a report of a person shot near 630 Travis St. NW, listed as the address of the Trap Music Museum in the English Avenue neighborhood , northwest of Atlanta.

Upon arrival, police reportedly found a 59-year-old man who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide investigators are trying to determine what led to the fatal shooting.

The investigation is in its early stages and details are limited at this time.
