MomoCon is an annual celebration of animation, comics, and video games – or, as organizers like to say, “geek culture” – and it occupies the Georgia World Congress Center from Friday to Monday. The convention attracted 48,000 people last year and is expected to reach at least 50,000 this time around, meaning downtown Atlanta will be filled with cosplay fans dressed as their favorite Japanese anime characters , Marvel comics, Disney classics, and more.
