Several streets have been closed as crews work to repair windows damaged during last Thursday’s storm.

The updated road closures are as follows:

  • Smith from Clay to Pease

  • Louisiana from Pease to Clay and from Polk to McKinney

  • Dallas from Smith to Milam

  • Lamar from Fannin to Smith

  • McKinney from Smith to Louisiana

  • Milam from McKinney to Lamar

  • Milam’s Bell at Smith

  • Travis from Dallas to McKinney

  • Travis from Franklin to Commerce

METRO Park & Ride service to downtown will not resume until after the Memorial Day holiday.

“Outside of the targeted active broken window stabilization zone, downtown Houston is open and regular programming has resumed. Restaurants, bars, entertainment venues and parks have resumed their regular hours,” the management district said.
