Hobbs Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident

HOBBS, NM (KRQE) – Hobbs Police are asking for the public’s help in providing information about a fatal crash involving a pedestrian.

Hobbs Police Department officers responded to the fatal crash at 10:31 p.m. on May 12 near the intersection of Broadway and Turner. The pedestrian, Leroy Gonzales, died. Officials did not provide any details about the incident.

Police said multiple search warrants were executed, speed analysis was being conducted, video was being reviewed, pedestrian traffic laws were being researched and several other investigative techniques were being used.
