For the first time in franchise history, the Atlanta Falcons Win the NBA Draft Lottery. The Hawks finished 36-46 this season for a 10th place finish in the Eastern Conference and had just a 3 percent chance of winning the Eastern Conference’s top pick. 2024 NBA Draft. This is the fifth lowest odds for a team to win the No. 1 pick since the lottery began in 1985. It will be the first time since 1975 that the Hawks have held the No. 1 pick when they drafted the Hall of Fame guard. David Thompson.
