Two dead and at least 19 injured in mass shooting in Detroit (USA), second incident within two days

Two people were killed and at least 19 others injured in a shooting in the US state of Detroit, the news agency AP quoted the Michigan State Police as saying on Sunday.

According to media reports, no one was arrested in connection with the incident.

Michigan State Police are assisting their Detroit counterparts in investigating the incident, police said in a statement.

This shooting incident followed a similar incident that occurred in Kentucky on Saturday where our people were killed and three others were injured. The defendant then fled the scene in a car, sparking a police chase. He then shot himself and his car fell into a ditch.
