Motorcyclist dead after crash in Lockport

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A motorcyclist died Sunday following a crash on Johnson Road in Lockport, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

The motorcyclist was identified as Brandon Wilson, 24, of Lockport. He was transported to Lockport Memorial Hospital and then flown to ECMC, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police responded to the area of ​​4086 Johnson Road. shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, where the initial investigation showed Wilson lost control while traveling south, left the road and struck a tree. He was ejected and ended up in a field.

The accident is still under investigation.
