North Haven police search for driver who hit and killed dog

NORTH HAVEN, Connecticut (WTNH) – North Haven Police need your help locating the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a dog this morning.

According to North Haven police, a 2-year-old German Shepherd was struck and killed by a car at 7:40 a.m. near 1650 Hartford Tpk.

Officers believe a white Ford, which resembles a pickup truck or SUV, was traveling north when it struck the dog and drove off. Police say the vehicle has front-end damage.
