Baby, wake up. A new Knife out Mystery was announced. On May 24, director Rian Johnson shared in a teaser on Twitter that the next installment is in the works and Daniel Craig will return as detective Benoit Blanc. He revealed that the next installment will be called Wake up, dead man, continuing the tradition of naming the films after rock songs. The film is set to begin production in June and will be Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet.” Will Matt Berry finally team up with Johnson and put a group of presumably wealthy, rich people in danger? Not quite, but we know the first people who will be assisting Detective Blanc on his latest case. Below you’ll find everything we know about Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Crime Thriller.

challengerJosh O’Connor was cast in a movie with a knife (yay!), but there are no rats that can cook (boo!). At least not yet… He and Priscillaby Cailee Spaeny are the first suspects (or victims) for Johnson’s latest crime thriller, Vulture confirms. There are no details on their exact roles yet, but they would be a very cute “golden retriever, black cat” couple with a few secrets up their sleeves (or in their chef’s hats). What’s On Netflix claims that Lindsay Lohan and Tom Hardy are also in talks to take on the lead roles, but nothing has been confirmed.

The mystery will be released on Netflix sometime in 2025.
