Four people were killed by falling trees in Greenville County on Friday

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Four people were killed by falling trees in Greenville County on Friday.

According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, coroners responded to four weather-related deaths Friday.

At 7:17 a.m., coroners and other first responders were called to Cedar Avenue after a tree fell on a home. Inside the house, emergency services found 56-year-old Lornder Lee Palmer, who was trapped in the apartment. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

At 9:43 a.m., coroners and first responders were called to Chestnut Ridge Road in Marietta. Once there, they found 40-year-old Aaron Marshall Lance in front of a house. He was reportedly hit by a fallen tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

At 9:20 a.m., coroners and first responders were called to the Cleveland Street extension in Greenville after a tree fell on a home. Charles Daly Dean III, 59, was pronounced dead shortly after 10 a.m. He had been in the house when the tree fell and hit him.

At 9:54 a.m., the coroner’s office and first responders were called to Ridge Road after reports of a man being hit by a falling tree branch. The medical examiner’s office said Moreno Arnez Maddox, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene.
