Wrong-way driver causes fatal crash on I-75 in Atlanta – 95.5 WSB

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Monday morning.

At 2:35 a.m., officers were called to a crash near I-75/85 NB and 10th Street NW.

When they arrived, they found that two people had been injured in an accident.

One of the people involved died at the hospital, according to APD.

Both people were taken to hospital.

Police said the accident was caused by a wrong-way driver.

All lanes were blocked due to the early morning accident.

Police did not provide additional details.

The investigation is ongoing.
