HOUSTON – Houston faces a threat of severe weather Monday afternoon into late evening, as well as increasing flooding risks throughout Southeast Texas.

From weather advisories and forecast models to road conditions and preparations you need to make at home or in the office, here’s how KPRC 2 can help.

Flood monitoring

KPRC has data on current flood conditions whenever you need it at Click2Houston.com/FloodTracker (KPRC 2 / Click2Houston.com)

KPRC 2 has partnered with the Harris County Flood Control District to better serve our community during extreme weather events.

Whenever there is significant rainfall in the Houston area, you can see exactly which regions experience the greatest impact at Click2Houston.com/floodtracker.

KPRC 2’s expert meteorologists have flood gauge maps they can use to show you current conditions. When all the gauges are green, you are in great shape. When the gauges start to turn yellow and red, the water is rising. This is a simple, visual way to see when and where people and property are most at risk of flooding.
