Buffalo Trace Distillery Releases Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Rye

Buffalo Trace Distillery has announced the release of Colonel EH Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Rye, the 13th release to join the Colonel EH Taylor, Jr. collection.

Bottled at 126 proof (63% ABV), Colonel EH Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Rye is described as having aromas of “white pepper and nutty notes, with a touch of fresh flowers and candied apricot.” . The palate exhibits “a range of complex flavors, balancing sweet, dried stone fruits with pepper and dryness of oak.” The finish is “full and sweet like honey”.

Colonel EH Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Rye is now available in very limited quantities at a suggested retail price of $77.99 per 750 ml bottle.
