LECLAIRE, Iowa (KWQC) – It’s going to be a weekend full of history, cowboys, live music and good old family fun June 29-30 at the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show.

Kyle Kiel checks in live during Friday’s Quad Cities Live to interview some of the artists who will be featured during the weekend’s festivities.

The event at Cody Elementary School is a fundraiser for the Buffalo Bill Museum in LeClaire. The festivities will take place on June 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and June 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Attendees will be able to meet cowboys reenacting legends of the era, including Annie Oakley, Buck Taylor and Buffalo Bill. Performers will put on a daily show filled with acrobatic shooting, side-saddle horse rides, arena shows and much more. Activities and games for children will also be offered during the festivities.

The event raises money for the Buffalo Bill Museum in LeClaire. Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and older, and $8 for children under 12. Tickets can be found online by clicking here.

The reenactors will live in a “Boomtown” camp on site at the school located at 2100 Territorial Road. The cowboys, their families and their horses will live there for three days. There will also be ongoing demonstrations of pioneer life.
