Live: Two lines of the London Underground partially closed after fire, two others with significant delays

There is chaos on the London Underground this morning (June 7) as two Tube lines have been partially closed due to fire alarms. The Piccadilly line and the District line have both been closed westbound between Acton Town and Barons Court after a fire alarm went off in Turnham Green.

According to Transport for London, this is causing significant delays on the Piccadilly line and minor delays on the District line. There are also significant delays on two other Tube lines: the Victoria line due to an earlier passenger incident and the Jubilee line due to an earlier signal failure at Stratford. There are minor delays on the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. Tickets for alternative transport will be accepted.
