The parents of a 9-year-old motorcyclist have revealed how they plan to pass on her legacy after she died in a “freak accident.”

Brooke Carlton was killed on Sunday, June 2, while riding her electric motorcycle at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park when she was “struck by another juvenile,” according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

A GoFundMe page was subsequently set up for Brooke’s parents. Jason And Angiewhich has now raised over $70,000.

“TThere have been some concerns about where the funds from donations and GoFundMe will go “, wrote the fundraiser organizer on Tuesday, June 4. “After speaking with Jason and Angie last night, they have a phenomenal idea that will get right back to the kids and all who knew Brooke.”

They continued: “Not only will this idea bring comfort to the surrounding families, but we will also carry a little piece of her with us everywhere we go.”

According to GoFundMe, Brooke’s family would like to partner with a “stuffed animal/cuddly toy company” to make their plan a reality.

“Anyone who knew Brooke personally knew that she was known for ‘making waves’ with her sassy attitude of ‘either doing what she wants or not doing it at all,'” the site said. “We still have a lot of unanswered questions about what really happened, but after much discussion last night with Jason, we have come up with some ideas to keep Brooke’s ‘waves’ alive for years to come. We’re not going to make waves, we’re going to make a tsunami for you, baby.”

Jason and Angie “are absolutely speechless and feel completely empowered to silently watch what is happening to their little daughter Brookie,” the organizer noted.
