Atlanta man disappears after hiking in Guatemala – WSB-TV Channel 2

ANTIGUA, Guatemala — An Atlanta man went missing earlier this week while hiking in Guatemala.

Last Tuesday, Zain Wailiany, 26, was last seen hiking on the Acatenango Volcano.

Waliany and a friend had been hiking for over 12 hours, when the friend decided to split up at midnight to head to base camp, while Waliany continued his hike.

Family said Wailany was last seen wearing white pants and a multi-colored tie-dye crew-neck sweatshirt, under a black raincoat with his hair in a bun.

Now, Wailany’s family is asking for financial help to find him.
