ATLANTA — The Cincinnati Reds’ game against the Braves in Atlanta on Tuesday, scheduled to start Tuesday night, has been postponed because of rain.

The teams will conclude the series with a split doubleheader Wednesday at Truist Park in Atlanta. Following the 12:20 p.m. game, the second game is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.

Frankie Montas will start as expected for Wednesday’s opener. Nick Martinez, who was scheduled to start Tuesday night, will start Wednesday’s season-ending game for the Reds.

Braves All-Star Chris Sale was expected to start Tuesday night. It’s unclear which of Wednesday’s two games he’ll start.

The Reds won the series opener on Monday, 4-1 after seven scoreless innings pitched by Hunter Greene.
